Why do I make Documentaries?

Why do I make Documentaries?
Easy, there are many very interesting stories about the Mafia/Mob that should be told many of them from the S.E. Wisconsin, North East Illinois area.
One of the major players in this is of course Frank Balistrieri even with “The Outfit” having control over what was going on in Milwaukee (and if there is a “Mafia” in Milwaukee its run out of Chicago.) Frank B was far more powerful helping IMHO the Outfit/Kansas City more into the Casinos via the Teamsters pension fund loans.

He deserves more then a few paragraphs in books or stories posted on line. The least I can do is make a few documentaries on him.

I hope I can count on you in to help make this happen.

What motivated me to write this post was I picked up the book The Dark Heat of Hollywood by Douglas Thompson, from my local library and well, in a few works it sucks, from repeating what I see as BS stories to as I read some of the pages almost taking lines by lines from other books, it is what it is and perhaps I should write books right ?  Funny I know better I am a poor writer but I can put together a team of Film Makers.

We need more truthful work done on what I see at least a  part of major American history.

Budgets and Opportunities

So after talking with Mr. Love , the Editor of the Milwaukee Mob we have come up with a budget of about $1500. for the Milwaukee Mob, the Editor’s Cut.

The Editor’s Cut is expected to run about 60 Mins and bring another story into the documentary that did not make the first film.

As for the Film The Milwaukee Mob II : Frank Balistrieri, Goes to Vegas, the story of the much understood little known role that Frank played in bring the Mob into Vegas will be looked at.

Should the lawyers allow we would like to talk about how in our humble opinion, that as alleged  Allen Glick was perhaps not Mr. Innocent as the media has made him out to be.

We are not trying to rehabilitate Frank Balistrieri, but in a way give him more credit in making Vegas what is became.

As you we hope have read of the stickers and T shirts you can buy to make our next projects happen and with out your help this take more time to happen, there is also sponsorships as well as advertising opportunities available.
As The Milwaukee Mob got over 50,000 views in a a few months this be a great way to get your product out in front of an engaged community looking to buy male focused products, as well since much of Milwaukee Mob II Frank Goes To Vegas talks about sin city be a fantastic oppertunty to bring men with CASH to say your Mob Tour or Casino be it in Vegas or in the Chicago area.

Film Project : Milwaukee Mob Editors Cut

With the 1st anniversary of the release of the film The Milwaukee Mob our documentary on the last and most powerful leader of that group ,   Frank Balistrieri coming up in January 2019 the Editor Jason Love and I, are planing to to a Director’s Cut of the film.

This film would include footage not used in the first release  as well add more on the famous underrated Milwaukee Phil : Felix Alderisio.

As Milwaukee was under the oversight of the Outfit, I see that doing an Editor’s cut under the Chicago Outfit Blood in the Streets brand fits well.

Mr. Love and I thought the story of Milwaukee Phil is interesting, needed to be brought up in the context of an Editor’s Cut.

This project should be done if funding allows early Spring of 2019.
